Assured First Aid is a Wiltshire based first aid training provider delivering first aid courses in the South of Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. Assured First Aid is registered with First Aid Awards Ltd – an Ofqual regulated Awarding Organisation that specialises in a range of Level 3 and Level 2 Awards in First Aid. This body guarantees that we meet the standard and syllabus set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and OFSTED for the paediatric courses.
Experienced and knowledgeable trainer
Mike Badham-Thornhill, the company director, has been teaching first aid since 2006. Whilst still in the Army Mike gained valuable experience as a first aider. In 2006 he led a team of army trainers working in the army recruiting organisation delivering, amongst other topics, First Aid instruction and also achieved teaching qualifications including the City and Guilds level 3 Certificate in Leadership Development (CiLD).
Subsequently Mike joined St John Ambulance as a first aid trainer where he gained considerable experience. He enjoyed training a wide variety of people but wanting more flexibility and to be able to offer bespoke courses he branched out on his own creating Assured First Aid in 2016.
